BERENG BEE DEEJAY PHOKENG : MY PERFECT FIND ,

Born and bred in the town of Paarl, Cape Town. Bereng Phokeng is a university student, dj, producer, an events co-ordinator, a graphic designer, and brand ambassador for SomethinFresh Clothing. He started off in 2006 and furthered his skills by producing in 2010. In 2008 he went on and played at Paarl’s well known hot spot, Chippa’s Place. This is where he gained more exposure and started getting formally paid for his performances.

In 2010, Bee moved back to playing at Chippa’s Place in Paarl and has become an integrated part of the events management crew for Chippa’s Place. Not only does Bee perform locally and for a live audience, he has a monthly podcast, namely Musical Expressions. He created the podcasts to get people exposed to new & unreleased music and to become an established force to be reckoned within  music.

 

 His mixes have been aired nationally on South African radio stations namely 5FM, GoodhopeFM and Umhlobo Wenene and Metro FM and to an international audience in the United Kingdom on QHRadio. He has shared stages with heavyweights in the music industry which include DJ Black Coffee, Christos, Fistaz Mixwell, Jullian Gomes, SPHectacula & Naves, Ralf Gum, Big Nuz and Vinny Da Vinci all but to name a few. Bee is a versatile DJ who not only plays house music but also Hip Hop/R&B.
